The Southern Baptist Missions Network is able to connect potential volunteers with a wide variety of high-yielding missionary opportunities.   These are primarily through the Church on the March organization but include others as well.   Following are examples of the opportunities awaiting God-called volunteers and mission-driven churches and organizations:

Translators

Translators who are proficient in English but whose native language is other than English are needed to translate or edit basic Bible study materials for adults, youth and children along with Christian worker training materials.  These will be placed on multiple web pages in some 40 or more languages, including the 25 most commonly-used languages in the world.   More than 80% of the world’s population will have access to them, as a first or second language.

Builders and Architects

A world-wide first will be the Institute of Transformational Leadership in Guatemala, Central America.   It will gather not only Christian leaders and pastors, but also directors of school districts, governors of provinces, mayors, business and professional people for conferences with an emphasis on national transformation based on God’s Word and the rule of Christ.   The land awaits; now the work is needed.

Pastors

Pastors are welcome to become a part of this missionary network.   They are given guidance and assistance in developing their churches into powerful missionary agencies, both in the geographic areas surrounding the church and on needy but distant mission fields.    Pastors also provide much of the leadership for the entire movement, when God calls them to this challenge and they have time available to dedicate to it.

Conference Speakers

Municipal buildings, churches and schools are open for the gathering of large groups for life-needs conferences.     Experienced Christian conference leaders are needed for inspiring and training Christian pastors, leaders and members, especially in areas of Central America where such conferences are never otherwise available.

Web Page Workers

Revolutionary Christian strategies and tools are tested, proven and ready for distribution to the world and the WWW offers the democratic means by which they can be disseminated.   Those who are technically able to prepare and mount these tools are among the most powerful communicators on the globe today.   Join the team and change the world.

Donors

Spirit-driven donors are needed to examine multiple fields of ministry opportunities that are strategically placed.   These enable a more rapid expansion of the Kingdom of God on earth through the Great Commission undergirded by the Great Commandment.   This movement is not money-driven, but even modest financing is enabling the reaching and saving of thousands.   Investors in the gospel may find no better prospects than these.

Medical Teams

We have access to many Central American municipalities, schools and churches in which medical teams meet massive health needs relatively unserved by local medical facilities.    Excellent groundwork and team care is offered to hard-working volunteer medical teams.

Christian Writers

Simple and basic Christian literature is the foundation of these ministries and gifted writers and editors are needed for new projects.

Children’s Workers

Many thousands of children can be gathered for introductory Bible teaching and gospel presentations.   American teams are able not only to teach such groups but also to encourage and lead national children’s teachers to follow their examples and establish permanent Bible outreach in many communities.

Missionaries and Missionary Organizations

The Southern Baptist Missions Network serves missionaries and missionary organizations in many ways in providing guidance and tools for more effective evangelism, disciple-making, and church starting.   Membership to this network is open to individuals and organizations that share its values and purposes.
